When your skin needs a quick pick-me-up, there’s nothing better than a hot shower and sugar scrub. The scrub helps to exfoliate the dead skin away while leaving it smooth and nourished.
And honestly, we’re pretty in love with the sugar scrubs we send our own customers (that’s given, isn’t it?)
But they’re so great that you’re bound to run out eventually… then what?
While you wait for your next Sudzly Subscription Box to show up at your doorstep, here’s a SUPER easy DIY sugar scrub to make. With ingredients you likely already have in your pantry, this scrub can be whipped up in a matter of minutes. All you need is sugar, essential oils, and coconut oil.
Of all of those ingredients, the coconut oil may be the hold-up and we get it. But if you don’t have it on hand now, here’s a little tip… a little goes a LONG way and can be used in SO MANY natural applications. In fact, lifestyle blogger, Ashli Evans, recently showed us 10 ways she uses coconut oil in her everyday life—and you bet there was a sugar scrub recipe included!
Ready to make your own? Find a glass mason jar around your house and choose your favorite essential oil. For this, we tend to lean towards lavender, lemon, orange or peppermint (especially around the holidays!)
